Definitely smaller than actual size. you will need to size up. it didn’t take long to receive and while they are small they do look just like the picture.

Shorts are excellent. I wear 36 and like it loose so i got 8x. When i put it on the elastic is slightly stretched. 8x can easily go up to size 42 waist.

They are thin and very light, just what I was looking for. Zippers on the pockets, which perfectly fit today's phone bricks. Important, the 3XL equivalent is a L or 44 in real sizes.
